Despite the fact that I have played this game about ten times and never won, I love this game! This is the ultimate in resource management. I enjoy the concept of allocating all of your cash each round to purchase power plants through a bidding process, buying raw materials based on an ingenious supply/demand model, and strategically building city connections that will provide for future expansion and yield the greatest return. I like how the turn order somewhat controls the leader from distancing himself from the group, and in all the games I have played the winner is neck and neck with the others until the very end. I have played it with 2, 4, and 6 players and prefer it with 4. With 2 there is no competition for building cities and the raw materials never get very costly, but with 6 it can be a bit frustrating due to overcrowding and getting “blocked” by other players. This is a cost accountants nirvana, but also very enjoyable for everyone else!
